Review:
From Belgrad /Serbia are these four guys with their 13 track album "Speed King". At first I must say that Lucky Marcell have a real goog voice even if he try to sing too American.
The backin band is solid and do an ace job. Musiclike we get a right mix of coverversions and self penned material, all in straight authentic Rockabilly mood, and very well recorded. Especially the lead guitarist is a real king pin on his instrument and pack the album with some real fine licks. Whilst the self penned material is more in mid tempo, the coverversions are well choosen from the big amount of vintage rockin' stuff and tunes like "Three Or Four Nights" , "How About Me, Pretty Baby" or "Pink Cadillac" are more than well done. My personal fave is "Speed King" a self penned tune!!! If ya' dig authentic Rockabilly in first class quality - this young band is your stuff.
