EL MEXICAN ROCK AND ROLL

When the rhythm of Rock and Roll crossed the Mexican border in 1955 it wasn't through young bands but by experienced musicians used to play anything new coming from the other side of Rio Grande. In the case of Rock and Roll, this gave birth to various ways of understanding and playing it; some of them different to the original and others loyal to it, but with a Latin flavour. This disc tries to reunite these artists who in the first years of Rock And Roll created new songs and covers recreating the rhythm coming from the north helping to spread it across the country through various record labels like RCA Victor, Columbia, VIK, Musart, Peerless, etc...
